The rules are established pursuant to Article 13 of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Act (hereinafter called “the Act”).
The municipal or county (city) competent authority, due to financial difficulty or other appropriate reason, may request the central competent authority to subsidize up to one half of the compensation costs which shall be borne by the municipal or county (city)
competent authority pursuant to Article 13 of the Act.
The subsidy stated under Article 2 shall not exceed the base-line standard established by the municipal or county (city) competent authority in estimating compensation costs for plants at the time of requisition of private land holdings and their associated
The municipal or county (city) competent authority shall submit application with the records of removal, destruction, cost estimates, and compensation fees for subsidy for compensating the plants or plant products pursuant to the first paragraph of Article
12 of the Act to the central competent authority within 30 days after the completion of the removal or destruction of the plants or plant products.
The rules shall become effective as of the date of its promulgation.
